When you read a book you actively engage your mind and enter into a new state of consciousness. Losing yourself in a good book has been shown to reduce depression and stress. lower heart rate and reduce blood pressure. Reading improves literacy, concentration and ones ability to focus. Reading also increases knowledge and improves sleep.
Every two months a new book will be selected by the group to read. We will meet once a month to discuss the book. If you are interested in joining our book club fill out the form below!
Receiving a letter of encouragement can really make a difference in someone's life. Sometimes people just need to know that someone cares, or that someone is thinking about them. A little bit of encouragement goes a long way! We invite you to join our Letters of H.O.P.E Program to inspire, encourage, and remind others that there is HOPE.

We are pleased to announce that D. Hope Miller Foundation is officially a Community Partner with the Texas Health and Human Service Commission. This partnership increases communities access to state benefit programs such as SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, Children's Medicaid, Chip and Healthy Texas Women Medicaid.
